Homebase Advert

Jasmine composed and produced the music for Homebase’s first TVC in 3 years, for Mcasso Music.

(Portrait of) Frau P. in the South

The first short film I directed myself! Inspired by Paul Klee's painting 'Portrait of Frau P. in the South', I dressed my sister, Amelie Meaden, as Frau P. and filmed in and around the Barbican with Melisande Lochak and Liam Fuller.

The painting is of a prim Northern lady (Frau P.) on holiday in the Mediterranean which I aimed to capture in the music. It was recorded with The Bauhaus Band.

The Valley of the Dragon

'The Valley of the Dragon' was written for orchestra last year, inspired by Wales. I imagined a Dragon flying across Snowdon, settling down for a rest, then flying off again out of sight.

It was performed by The Guildhall Session Orchestra in Milton Court Concert Hall, and I conducted it myself. Photography by Melisande Lochak.

The Illuminated River project

The Illuminated River project is an art installation spanning 3.2 miles from London to Lambeth bridges, making it the longest public art commission in the world.

I had the incredible opportunity to write a piece of music for Westminster bridge, one of the five new bridges being illuminated this year.

Derry Halloween - St Columb's Park House

Written for Derry Halloween Festival, for the location 'St Columbus Park House'. With live projections onto the building, and sound effects alongside the music.

Circles in a Circle – 3 Movements

This piece has three movements and is based upon the Kandinsky painting 'Circles in a Circle'. It was recorded live by the Bauhaus band at the Guildhall School.

First movement, 'Bold Lines And Empty Spaces'. Second movement, 'Meeting The Black Circle'. Third movement, 'Circles In A Circle'.
