About

Jasmine is a fourth year undergraduate Film Music student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the Electronic Music department. She has a background in Classical piano and Jazz guitar, and has always had a passion for composition and film music.

She has recently started as a freelance composer for Mcasso Music, working on recent projects such as ‘Elevate Orkney’ with the Scottish Ballet, and Hombase’s new advertising campaign, ‘All Your Home Needs’. 

Jasmine takes great influence from composers such as Debussy and Ravel, and loves to compose orchestral scores both for film and in her own time. She is a skilled orchestrator and arranger and frequently works in Sibelius, and with sample libraries in Logic Pro to create realistic mock-ups for demos.

Jasmine studied at Pate’s Grammar School and played in Big Bands and events such as Cheltenham Jazz festival.

In 2018 she won the Bath Film Festival FilmScore competition, which you can read more about on the portfolio page.
