about

Jasmine is a London-based composer, arranger and orchestrator for concert works, advertising, TV and film. She gained a degree in Film Music (and Electronic Music) from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2024, with second study in Classical piano.

In December 2024, Jasmine wrote a commission titled A Dream within a Dream, for the Kingston Third Age Orchestra. The 10 minute piece was based upon Edgar Allan Poe's poem of the same title, and was performed at K3O's Winter concert. It was recently recorded with the Guildhall Session Orchestra, and will be available to listen to soon.

While studying at Guildhall, she worked on many different short films, animations and feature films, with lots of different directors and artists from schools within London and across the world. Working on one of these projects, she met director Omri Dayan, and worked with him to compose the music for his feature film Inc. which will be released on Amazon in November 2025.

Since 2024 she has assisted composer Ruth Barrett, on her recent music for Amazon shows The Girlfriend and The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, Netflix film The Old Guard 2, CW's Sherlock and Daughter, and NBC's Law and Order: Organised Crime. Jasmine recently orchestrated Ruth's Sanditon Suite for the Southbank Centre's concert Bridgerton and Beyond, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Jasmine has also been working as an orchestrator and assistant to composer Erland Cooper since 2024, with recent projects including Unfolding Landscapes, recorded with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and premiered on BBC Radio 3's segment Train Tracks, Birds of Paradise also recorded by the BBCSSO and premiered on BBC Radio 3 in honour of Sir David Attenborough, Folded Landscapes performed by the BBC Philharmonic at BBC Radio 3's Aerial Festival in the Lake District, a cello trio for London Fashion Week, and various string arrangements for Erland's live tour.

She has worked as a freelance composer for Mcasso Music since 2023, and has written and produced the music for Homebase’s TV advertising campaign All Your Home Needs, Scottish Ballet's Elevate Orkney, and an upcoming project with Fortnum and Mason.

Jasmine grew up in Oxfordshire, so takes a lot of inspiration from natural landscapes in her writing. She studied at Pate’s Grammar School and played in Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra, and events such as Cheltenham Jazz festival.

In 2018 she won the Bath Film Festival FilmScore competition, with her rescore of short film Mr Night's Has a Day Off.
